Ketchikan Gateway Borough Transit System Mission Statement:

The mission of the Ketchikan Gateway Borough Transit System is to provide the public with a safe, economical & reliable way to get to work or play.  In keeping with this, on May 15, 2006, the Transit Department expanded it's bus route to serve everyone from the Totem Bight/D-1 Loop area all the way south to the new Fawn Mountain Elementary School. There are now three buses to serve your needs; the Blue Line for the northern route, the Green Line which services the residential areas in town, and the Red Line for the southern route.
