Election Information

The Borough Clerk's office is responsible for administering all Borough elections. The regular Borough election is held on the first Tuesday in October of each year to elect members to the Borough Assembly and School Board. Voter registration is administered by the State Division of Elections [see link below]. In order to be a qualified voter of the Borough you must be registered to vote in a state election not less than 30 days prior to the election.

Filing for Office for a seat on the Borough Assembly or School Board begins August 2 and ends August 25, 2010.  To file for office, interested citizens must submit a nominating petition and 2010 APOC Financial Disclosure statement, to the Borough Clerk's Office no later than August 25, 2010, at 5:00 p.m.

Assembly Terms of Office Ending 2010:  Michael Painter, Glen Thompson (3 year terms); Agnes Moran (1 year term)

School Board Terms of Office Ending 2010: Virginia Clay, Michael Fitzgerald (3 year terms); David Timmerman (1 year term)
